What are the types of Water-Purification Technologies? Info

Water pollution is the serious issue which is increasing rapidly in India and other countries. Water is the key element of daily household chores and the outside chores. Finding the root cause of the issue has become the basic necessity. Unlike breathing, to live is to drink but its quality has been adversely affected that threatens human health, development and prosperity. But there are a few reasons which make us believe that situations can improve. Taking mall steps could pave the way for bigger and clear solutions of living a pollution free life.
Intake of purified water is essential to safeguard our hygiene. Tap water which is not safe for the purpose of drinking instead distilled water could be used. Different levels of impurities and purities are present in it which needs to get purified in the systems. The role of the systems is to remove unhealthy parameters from contaminating water using different methods.
The oldest method known for filtration of water is distillation where water is boiled and eliminates the contaminants. Another method to rely on is Ions exchange where ions are exchanged through a spherical resin material. Third method is mostly used in water appliances used in our homes where it filters chlorine and other chemicals.
A wide variety of systems are available in the market ranging from decent to advanced purifiers having membrane technology and UV lamp filters. Listed below are the types of Water Purification Systems used commonly:

1.RO Purification
Reverse osmosis is the well known technology and commonly used in all purification systems. The membrane technology removes dissolved chemicals, impurities and germs from the water. The membrane consists of small pores which allow water to pass and leave all the impurities left behind.

2.UF Purification
Unlike RO, Ultra Filtration consists of bigger pores that remove pathogenic germs and turbidity but fails to sort dissolved chemicals. It physically removes the impurities. The technology is mostly used where the supply of water is not very hard and has less TDS.

3.E-boiling (UF Purification)
E-Boiling is a method where ultra violet light is used to eliminate the microorganisms, bacteria, cysts and many more chemicals. Ultra Violet Filtration is an effective process where 99% of organisms are removed from the water. The tiny mercury lamp inside the system destroys their abilities to reproduce. This process does not remove the dead bodies of the germs, they are still present. This technology comes in the combination with RO or Activated Carbon Filters.

4.Activated Carbon Filter Purifier
Activated carbon filters are used in the technology for the process. The carbon filters removes the entire germs physically. It completely changes the taste and quality without the electricity part.
